Job Description
Job Title: Lab Technician
Location: Aston, PA
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Hours: 40.0 hours per week
Responsibilities
+ Assist Laboratory Manager in performing daily laboratory functions, including sample preparation, instrumental analysis by ICP or atomic absorption, titration assays for silver, and fire assays.
+ Clean, operate, and maintain ICP and AA instruments.
+ Conduct titrations and fire assays accurately and efficiently.
+ Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
+ Perform ammonia testing using Ion Selective Electrode (ISE).
+ Manage inventory and order supplies for the laboratory.
+ Contribute to analytical method development for non-routine materials.
+ Prepare standards and reagents as needed for daily analysis.
