As a Lab Patient Technician, you will ensure smooth specimen collection, perform phlebotomies, and manage essential paperwork. Your communication skills paired with your empathy will play a vital role in maintaining patient confidentiality and providing outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet patients and explain collection procedures
• Execute phlebotomies and connect/disconnect holter monitors
• Complete special test collections and document results
• Address patient inquiries and maintain strong relationships
• Perform accurate data entry regarding patient info
Requirements:
• Graduate from a Laboratory Assistant program
• Experience with phlebotomy preferred
• ECG training is highly valued
