Position Summary

To provide effective instruction and assessment to Industrial Diploma level courses and to maintain HCT laboratories and workshops. The scope of work includes lecture delivery, the installation, demonstration, maintenance and trouble‑shooting of equipment and facilities. This is a combined instruction and hands‑on role which will have the Instructor deliver lectures and work closely with the Faculty and students in laboratories and workshops. In addition to the delivery of instructions and assessments, the Engineering Instructor sets up the laboratory in preparation for experiments, and maintains supplies and documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Membership to a relevant internationally recognized professional association is desirable.
• A completed apprenticeship leading to certification in a professional trade would be advantageous.
