Our Role
This position is the training ground for work in our laboratories. It is our entry level position where the employee learns how to use our lab equipment, complete the required experiments and processes to test the quality of Graymont finished products, core samples and other materials.
Key focus areas of the role will include:
Perform required physical or chemical tests using Methods of Analyses found on myGraymont with some supervision.
Ensure all methods and procedures are followed for compliance to relevant Quality Standards for Laboratory (MS ISO 17025:2017 Accreditation)
Learn to perform basic trouble-shooting for common problems with some supervision.
Learn to perform basic calibration and preventative maintenance duties as assigned with some supervision.
Learn to effectively use required equipment.
