Prospero Teaching is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Handsworth for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This is a full‑time teaching role with full classroom responsibility, continuing for two terms. The school is seeking a passionate practitioner who can create an engaging learning environment and positively contribute to the wider school community.

Role

• Teaching a KS1 class on a full‑time basis
• Full planning, preparation and marking responsibilities
• Delivering creative and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Monitoring pupil progress and supporting attainment
• Working collaboratively with staff, parents and senior leaders

Ideal Candidate

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have recent experience teaching within KS1
