Overview

On 1 August 2026 the University of Greenwich and the University of Kent will form a pioneering new multi‑university group called London and South‑East (LASE) University Group. Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS) is an exciting collaboration between Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Kent (soon to be part of LASE University Group). Our aim is to develop doctors from diverse backgrounds to provide person‑centred healthcare in a variety of settings and in response to a wide range of needs.

Located in Canterbury, we combine the expertise and resources of two excellent universities to create a hands‑on clinical experience. Following our successful GMC accreditation in 2025, we are now at a pivotal moment in our journey where there is the chance to consolidate and improve our educational offer.
