GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Kitchen Equipment Manager assigned to School Nutrition performs a variety of job functions essential to the successful operation of the local school cafeterias. The Kitchen Equipment Manager is assigned to communities in the district. The job functions include performing comprehensive diagnosis and repair of all Rowan-Salisbury Schools cafeteria equipment involving the skills of two or more maintenance and/or craft occupations to keep all kitchen equipment, mechanical equipment, or the structure of the kitchens in good operating order, customer service; program regulations and accountability; equipment use and care; and professional excellence.
