Job Description
About the Opportunity
We are a Canadian food industry sales and marketing brokerage firm seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to cover the Prairies territory, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, based out of Calgary. This is a field-based role for a true brokerage professional who knows how to navigate retail buyers, execute promotional programs, and grow a portfolio of food brands in a competitive market. You will manage day-to-day account relationships, lead new item presentations and category reviews, and be the strategic bridge between our brand principals and their Prairie retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow key retail accounts across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba
- Lead new item presentations, category reviews, and promotional planning with buyers
- Coordinate vendor demo days and in-store activations to drive product trial
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and territory volume projections
