Under general supervision of Facility Administrator, Juvenile Supervision Officer is available to perform the duties of the job on an as needed basis in order to provide care and protection to youth being held in the Ellis County Short-Term Detention Center. The Juvenile Short-Term Detention Center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week when youth are in custody. Officers will supervise juveniles of the same gender who are in custody by following an established schedule of activities and duties.
