Job Description
**Overview**
Jr Vessel Engineer (AUTEC-2026-24663):
Bowhead seeks a Jr Vessel Engineer to assist and operate Navy vessels out of Andros Island Bahamas supporting the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC). Jr Vessel Engineer will work to work as part of a close-knit team, as well as independently, to accomplish a range of maritime functions as you support AUTEC.
*** THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE FULL TIME RELOCATION TO ANDROS ISLAND BAHAMAS. WE OFFER RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AND LODGING IS COVERED BY THE CUSTOMER.***
**Responsibilities**
The Jr Vessel Engineer will assist with the operation of AUTEC's marine vessel propulsion systems and associated marine equipment, when not operating assigned vessel you will perform maintenance duties to ensure vessel readiness or fill in to operate other vessel engineering systems
