Job Description

Junior Sous Chef, Soho, London

A modern British restaurant and bar in Soho is looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join a friendly, skilled kitchen team.

You will cook with top-quality British produce and help lead service across lunch and dinner.

Role details

  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations
  • Help run service and lead a section when needed
  • Manage prep and service standards across the kitchen
  • Train, guide, and support junior chefs on shift
  • Keep quality, consistency, and speed on point during busy services
  • Support ordering, stock rotation, and waste control
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleaning standards
  • Modern British cooking led by seasonality, freshness, and creativity
  • Fresh food and scratch cooking
  • Team of around 6 people on shift
  • Shifts between 10:00 and 22:00
  • 45-hour contract
