The Environmental Genomics Laboratory in the Division of Science at New York University Abu Dhabi seeks a Junior Research Scientist to investigate the genetic and environmental factors modulating the human immune response during lifestyle transitions in Mongolia. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with fieldwork experience in resource-limited settings, robust experimental skills in immunology and microbiome research, and hands-on experience in multi-omics analysis. The successful candidate will implement and execute fieldwork protocols in Mongolia, including biological sample and data collection, perform lab-based multi-omics experiments, and conduct computational analyses using statistical genetics.
