Junior Medical Technologist, Paediatrics National University Hospital
Overview
As a Junior Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for delivery of patients’ service in the work area in a personalised, specialised and cost-effective way in accordance to established hospital policies, procedures and standard of practices.
You will also be required to provide laboratory support for all clinical cases that require Lung Function tests, Allergy tests and Sleep monitoring studies.
Job Responsibilities
Co-operate with doctors and other health-care providers in the smooth delivery of services to patients.
Ensure that all procedures scheduled for patients are performed well and to oversee the Lab’s smooth operations daily.
Perform a variety of pulmonary function tests (eg spirometry, NIOX-ENO, static lung volumes, Impulse Oscillometry, diffusion capacity, bronchial provocation tests) and sweat testing as requested by clinicians.
