Job Description

The Role:

Starting in September 2026, this 3-year apprenticeship role will support the Data Management team in delivering high‑quality data operations, analysis, documentation, and project support for the UK Life Branch. The role develops practical skills in data analysis, engineering concepts, and translating business requirements into technical outputs. 

The apprentice will support the team, while undertaking the Kaplan Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship:

The role offers hands-on experience with structured learning and development support.

The apprenticeship aims to ensure the candidate:

  • Gains a clear understanding of UK Life Reinsurance data, systems, and processes.

  • Develops practical analytical and coding capability using SQL, PowerBI and Databricks.

  • Learns to translate requirements into well structured technical outputs.
