Job Description
Overview
The purpose of this job is to perform procurement functions at branch level within the procurement department.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of Procurement Experience (advantageous)
- 2+ years Syspro/Qdocs experience (advantageous)
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (advantageous)
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Behavioral Dimensions Required:
- Facilitate compliance with the companys procurement policies at branch level
- Facilitate procurement requirements at a branch level ( obtaining comparative quotes, aligning with the Preferred Supplier List, etc)
- Generating purchase orders and communicating these to suppliers.
- Generating SCT orders and coordinating collections etc.
- Following up on Active purchase orders.
- Reviewing and reporting on Active Purchase Orders.
