Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Compiles and analyses financial data to prepare journal entries and record business transactions.
- Prepares profit and loss statements, monthly closing reports, and cost accounting summaries.
- Performs general ledger account reconciliations with detailed line items and supporting documentation.
- Maintains and implements appropriate accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Reviews and analyses budgets and actual expenditures.
- Recommends appropriate budget levels and ensures adherence to expenditure controls.
- Monitors accounting systems and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Analyses and communicates trends and variances in revenue, expenses, and balance sheet accounts.
