Introduction

A leading company in the mining industry are looking to recruit a Junior Accountant at their Head Office based in Centurion.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervise Creditors Clerk and review accuracy of information captured, including:
• Accounts payable batches
• Cash batches
• Age analysis reports
• Month-end procedures
• Support Accountant with various weekly and monthly financial reports
• Ensure timely and accurate financial data management and reporting

Desired Experience & Qualification

• BCom Accounting graduate with 2 to 4 years experience as Junior Accountant
• OR newly qualified SAIPA Accountant (advantageous) with 1 to 2 years post-article experience
• Advanced Excel skills essential
• Basic knowledge of Accounting standards
