The Opportunity
Aviva Canada Inc. has an excellent opportunity in our Medium Enterprise commercial insurance business unit. Our Ontario Mid-Market branch is seeking a Commercial Lines Fleet Auto Underwriters in Junior and Intermediate roles. In this position, you will service a substantial portfolio of commercial auto business requiring a demonstrated underwriting ability and a commitment to customer service excellence. You will be involved in the underwriting of Fleet accounts.
👉 We welcome applicants with anywhere from 1 to 5 years of insurance and/or underwriting experience. We will determine level based on experience.
What you’ll do
Assess and evaluate risk for new and existing fleet business
Assist more junior underwriters with applying corporate underwriting standards and share knowledge and skills with others in the branch (Intermediate); share knowledge and skills with others in the branch (Junior)
