Job Description
Tuvli, an Akima company, is hiring for a Jr. Classification Writer to support our DoS client located in Washington, DC.
**Responsibilities**
+ As a Junior Classification Writers will independently work classification, position management and other HR projects as assigned and assist in some cases the senior writers on the more complex projects.
+ Review the organization's functional statements and staffing pattern, the current position descriptions for the incumbent and supervisor.
+ Conduct onsite informational interview(s) with the supervisor and employee.
+ Prepare a written evaluation report summarizing the interview findings, evaluating the position's duties and responsibilities against appropriate and applicable Office of Personnel Management (OPM) classification standards, and documenting the rationale for the recommended title, series, and grade level.
