**Job Description**

The Job Developer and Vocational Counselor is assigned to the OnTrack program and works as a supportive education and employment specialist (SEES). The SEES uses an evidence-based approach to assist individuals with mental illness to obtain rapid competitive employment and mainstream educational opportunities. SEES workers are fully integrated into the mental health service. The SEES will work 1.0 FTE as part of a small multidisciplinary team providing coordinated and assertive treatment in the earliest stages of illness. OnTrackNY is a network of innovative mental health treatment programs for teens and young adults across New York State who have recently had unusual thoughts, behaviors, or perceptions (like hearing or seeing things that others don't). OnTrackNY helps people achieve their goals for health and wellness, school, work, and relationships. Equity, inclusion, rapid access, and self-determination are at the core of everything we do.
