Job Description

Summary

:

The Jig and Fixture Design Engineer will work closely with ‘Manufacturing Engineering’ and ‘Production’ to deliver Jigs and Fixtures that are robust and production ready in a time that is aligned to the main project deadlines.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Work with the Manufacturing Engineers and Engineering Management team to ensure that the jigs, fixtures and stillages that have been designed are suitable and fit for purpose.

  • Ensure that the 3D Models and Drawings are suitable for Manufacture (Design for Manufacture)

  • Meticulous & accurate documentation skills for all documentation including engineering drawings, SOP’s and SSOW’s.

  • Work closely with the Design Department for New Trailer Jigs & Fixtures
