Job OverviewThe Janitor will maintain appearance of the Distribution Center, champion the “Bob’s Way” in all interactions, and observe all safety requirements of Bob’s Discount Furniture. Responsibilities will include:

+ Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.

+ Gather and empty trash in pre-determined areas.

+ Service, clean, and supply restrooms in the warehouse.

+ Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.

+ Clean and stock all water coolers as per schedule.

+ Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.

+ Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.

+ Steam-clean or shampoo carpets as needed.

+ Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
