Job Description

Are you an experienced ITU/HDU nurse looking for new challenges and rewarding opportunities? Look no further! We have HDU/ ITU shifts in the Cornwall area, with rates of pay from £22.00- £40.70 per hour.

As an ITU/HDU nurse, you play a critical role in providing specialized care to patients in the Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) or High Dependency Unit (HDU). Your expertise in critical care, monitoring, and patient advocacy is invaluable in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

ITU Nurses responsibilities:

  • Assessment, observation, monitoring and charting of vital signs; care planning, treatment implementation, and patient evaluation
  • Making sure all the medical equipment is working correctly – including ventilators, drains and catheters, as well as IV lines and pumps
  • Communicating effectively and supporting patients, relatives, staff and others
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
