Summary This position is part of the Department of War Media Activity (WMA). The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing Section 508 policies, guidebooks, and best practices for the agency. Responsibilities As a IT Program Manager at the GS-2210-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Manages the Section 508 Compliance program, which includes a multi-year IT initiative carried out through related IT projects. Interprets and applies Section 508 and related accessibility laws, regulations, and standards across a broad range of organizational activities and business operations, including the procurement, development, maintenance, and use of technology. Validates conformance claims through expert evaluations and functional testing; and evaluates and responds to informal and formal compliance complaints.
