Position Summary
The IT Procurement & Operations Administrator ensures standards and best practices in managing Tandon IT hardware and software procurement. Responsible for ordering, purchasing, receiving, setting up, and deploying new systems. Manages asset tagging and inventory procedures. Monitors warranties and equipment lifecycle to ensure optimal planning and utilization of computing resources. Ensures protocols for wiping and recycling old systems. Manages contract negotiations, set-up and renewals. Develops, communicates and educates IT procurement procedures and standards to the Tandon community. Provides consultative guidance to departments on hardware and software purchases.

Required Education:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Required Experience:2+ years Strong knowledge of the computing landscape, vendors, technologies and equipment. Ex...
