Irrigation Technician (Parks)
general purpose
Performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the installation, operation, and maintenance of irrigation systems within the City Parks. Also responsible for a variety of maintenance work in maintaining City Parks, including landscaping, ball field maintenance, construction projects, parkland mowing and pool operations. These tasks are conducted under the broad oversight of the Supervisor.

Employee has no supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
CORE COMPETENCIES:
Repairs and/or replaces all breaks in the irrigation system at City Parks.
Repairs and/or replaces broken irrigation heads at City Parks.
Installs new irrigation in areas where irrigation is to be added at City Parks.
