Intellectual Property (IP) Practice Specialists work under the supervision of an attorney. Responsibilities include assisting with drafting and prosecuting patent applications, and supporting IP due diligences, patent landscape analyses, patent litigations, post-grant proceedings (IPR, PGR, interferences) and other IP matters in the life sciences related to cutting-edge technologies, such as gene editing, cellular therapies, antibody-based therapeutics, molecular diagnostics, and small molecule pharmaceuticals. The position requires an advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred, or M.S. with several years industry experience) in the life sciences (e.g., Biology, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Immunology, Virology, Bioengineering, or Organic Chemistry).
