The Intra-Operative Monitoring Technician provides neurophysiologic monitoring during orthopedic, neurosurgical and vascular procedures. Studies include brain and spinal cord monitoring with somatosensory evoked potentials, motor evoked potentials, EEG, EMG and pedicle screw testing as well as brainstem monitoring with brainstem auditory evoked potentials and facial nerve and other cranial nerves monitoring.
