Job Summary:
The Interventional Radiology Team Leader will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and support to the Radiology Outpatient Scheduling department. The Team Lead will participate in the employment process to include recruitment, hiring, disciplinary processes, and evaluation of employees under purview. The Team Lead will participate in all related Scheduling Center duties, including providing guidance and support to staff as needed. Facilitates open lines of communication with staff, managers, technologists, nursing, Radiologists, ordering physicians, anesthesiologists, patients and families. Clearly defines scheduling parameters to ensure proper application and distribution across modalities. Keeps scheduling documents current with new procedures and updates to current procedures, as necessary.
