About the role
We are excited to be recruiting a fixed-term or locum, full-time (1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week) Interventional Cardiologist at Dunedin Hospital.
The appointee is expected to:
* participate in diagnostic angiography, right heart catheterisation, PCI (including OCT, Shockwave, IVUS), and structural work including TAVR, TEER, and LAA closure
* conduct face-to-face patient clinics, providing comprehensive assessments and management plans for a range of cardiac conditions
* collaborate with general medicine teams in managing complex cardiac cases, including providing an in-hospital consult service.
This role does have an on-call component for both general cardiology and the 24/7 primary PCI roster for the Otago/Southland region.
