Job Title:Intervention Tutor
Location: Peterlee
Pay Rate: GBP25-GBP30 per hour
Hours: Up to 15 hours per week
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Term-Time Role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a compassionate and experienced Intervention Tutor to provide 1:1 and small-group support to secondary-aged students (KS3/KS4) across Peterlee. Many of the students supported have SEND and SEMH, so require tailored academic, social, and emotional support to help them engage positively with learning.

This role is well suited to a tutor who adopts a calm, structured, and student-centred approach, and who can work collaboratively with families, schools, and external professionals to support young peoples progress and wellbeing.
