Internship: Combustion Aerothermal Systems β CFD Prediction & Validation
Location: Mississauga, Ontario (1801 Courtney Park Dr. E, L5T 1J3). The internship runs from 31 August to 18 December 2026. Availability is onβsite Monday to Friday with flexible hours. Eligible candidates must be able to work onβsite in the province where hired and be eligible to work in Canada. Responsibilities
Prepare combustion chamber geometry using ANSYS CAD tools (SpeceClaim, Design Modeller, Discovery) Mesh geometry using ANSYS meshing tools Review NOx prediction models from the literature and compare with those implemented in ANSYS Fluent Perform combustion CFD simulations in ANSYS Fluent, focusing on NOx prediction Review measured combustor NOx data from engines to identify key variables and measurement details Perform CFD simulations using available NOx models and compare predictions to engine data Implement a new NOx model based on a literature review into ANSYS Fluent Summarize findi...
