This Charter Officer directs the operation and administration of the Office of the Internal City Auditor and advises the City Council with respect to all matters concerning financial, performance, and compliance audit activities. The Internal City Auditor serves at the will of the City Council. Examples of Duties Plans, organizes, directs and deploys staff; reviews activities, work standards, and accomplishments of audit staff. Develops, implements, and monitors departmental goals and objectives that are aligned with the strategic direction of the City Council; and develops appropriate measures to be tracked in support of the City’s strategic plan.
