What You'll Do:
Administer nursing care within scope of practice as outlined in section to of the Ohio Revised Code. Works under direction of a Registered Nurse, licensed Physician, Dentist, Podiatrist, or Optometrist. Performs skilled practical nursing procedures and treatments (e.g., obtains vital statistics, applies oxygen, applies sterile dressing, inserts catheters; reinserts gastroscopy tubes, suctions, wound treatments, administers enemas, douches, obtains specimens, administers Enteral feedings, administers medications controlled and non-controlled to include oral, rectal, topical, inhalation, subcutaneous and intramuscular) Observes, documents and reports patient conditions and takes appropriate actions, Provides thorough and knowledgeable report of patient needs to RN/Physician.
