Interim Controller

**Location: Schaumburg, IL** **(Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)**
Start Date: Immediate
Hourly Rate: 70+ depending on experience (negotiable)

**Jefferson Wells, a Sikich company, is seeking an experienced Interim Controller to support a client engagement on a 3–6-month contract basis. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a finance professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys improving processes and cleaning up accounting operations.**

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Provide day-to-day controllership oversight for a mid-sized organization
+ Lead and execute process improvement initiatives, including standardizing and streamlining accounting workflows
+ Address and remediate highly manual, spreadsheet-driven processes
+ Oversee and optimize a complex supplier rebate process
+ Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across approximately $200M in financial flows and $30M in revenue
