The role translates the master production schedule into actionable supply plans, ensures material availability, and drives inventory and service performance. Working cross‑functionally with planning, manufacturing, procurement, and suppliers, the IBP balances service, cost, inventory, and capacity using ERP systems and data‑driven planning tools.
