Job Description — Instrumentation Engineer (Offshore)

Role summary

Lead instrumentation engineering activities for offshore projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and timely delivery of instrument systems from FEED/detail design through hook-up, commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and approve instrumentation deliverables: instrument datasheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams, P&IDs, Hook-up drawings, cable schedules, termination details.
• Specify, select and validate field instruments, analyzers, valves, transmitters, RTDs/thermocouples, flow meters, level gauges and explosion-proof equipment for offshore use.
• Prepare and review instrument cause-and-effect, interlock and shutdown logic with safety instrumented systems (SIS) interfaces.
