Position Summary
The Physiology Department at Michigan State University is searching for an Instructional Equipment and Supplies Technologist I for the PSL 475L and PSL 311L Laboratory courses. These laboratories focus on integrative human physiology, using organ system preparation models and noninvasive physiological measurements such as cardiovascular, respiratory, and neuromuscular assessments, along with urine and blood analysis.
In this role, the individual will provide logistical and technical support for the lab course instructors and will be responsible for setting up and dismantling stations for laboratory exercises; lab budgeting and regular inventory maintenance; washing dishes and organizing laboratory materials; preparing basic solutions and reagents; performing routine care, maintenance, calibration, and minor repairs on laboratory equipment; working with vendors for major repairs; assisting students and addressing technic...
