The **UW Medical Center-Montlake Pharmacy Department** is looking for an outstanding **Inpatient Pharmacist Intern - Year One** to join our Pharmacy team!
**WORK SCHEDULE**
+ Per Diem
+ Rotating/Variable Shifts
**POSITION HIGHLIGHTS**
+ Perform a variety of technical pharmaceutical tasks in the inpatient or satellite pharmacies, such as compounding medications, filling medication orders, and preparing compounded sterile products.
+ **The Pharmacist Intern performs all duties under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.**
**PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Maintain repackaging records.
+ Load drawers for the PYXIS and unit dose medication distribution system.
+ Deliver medications, including transfer of medication drawers, to the nursing units or other areas of the hospital.
+ Package medications into single-unit packages.
+ Restock shelves in the pharmacy.
