**Job Description:**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Sets upinjection molding machines in anticipation of the molding process, ensuring correct parameters are set for the specific part being molded.

+ Setting molds, dies, etc., to conform to scheduled requirements,to includeleaving the workstation clean and organized, with quality parts coming from the process, while minimizing downtime.Clearsthe production line ofpreviousproduct materials, tools, and instructions, preparing it for the new part

+ Performs mold cleaning according to schedule and as needed tomaintainoptimalperformance.(he cleans mold, nothing inside)Performsroutine repairs and preventative maintenance on production machinery.

+ Troubleshoot and solve minor molding process conditions (short shots, flash, burns, etc.) to ensure quality and prevent non-conformance

+ Setupandoperatemolding machinery and support equipment.
