Summary This position Is located at Department of Veterans Affairs, Hudson Valley Health Care System Montrose and Castle Point campuses. The employee performs a variety of tasks relative to the trade of Industrial Equipment Mechanic. The Incumbent may be assigned or reassigned to either HVHCS campus as the needs of the medical center warrant. Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: The incumbent is responsible for performing installation, preventive maintenance and repair to all the Medical Centers industrial and non industrial equipment. The incumbent overhauls, repairs, and performs preventive maintenance on all VA owned vehicles end equipment which includes, but is not limited to emergency generators, air compressors, exhaust fans/blowers, portable and stationary Industrial production machinery and equipment used in the production of goods and services for patient care.
