SUMMARY

The Sr. Electrician installs, repairs, and maintains electrical systems, apparatus, and electronic components of industrial machinery equipment to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Execute the assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures.
  • Design, fabricate, and implement new electrical control systems.
  • Analyze technical documents to inform decision-making processes, including blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, including PLCs, drivers, control panels, transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures. This involves using diagnostic tools and hand tools to identify issues and execute repairs.
