Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to and undergo regular supervision with HOD, Vice Principal and/or Principal as required.
  • Accompany individual student during school day.
  • Integrate individual student in daily interactions with peers, teachers, and other school community members.
  • Keep parent(s) updated regarding individual's progress and/or areas of need.
  • Assist individual student with assignments.
  • Ensure that individual student keeps up with lesson.
  • Collaborate with lead teacher of individual student to ensure progressive learning.
  • Assist lead teacher(s) with classroom management, day to day operations in running the classroom and administrative tasks when required.
  • Assist lead teacher(s) in implementing quality lesson plans and individual education plans regarding the individual student.
  • Assist lead teacher(s) in enforcing rules of behaviour management in the classroom.
