The In Process Quality Control (IPQC) Swing role is primarily responsible for testing materials and finished products to ensure they conform to all applicable laws and company standards. Quality Control Technicians test products across the three stages of production—before, in-process, and final—to ensure quality levels are met.

• Use basic inspection tools and devices, such as magnifying lenses, microscopes, calipers, and color Pantone.


• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.


• Inspect materials, assembled parts, or products for defects and deviations from specifications.


• Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments.


• Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
