Essential Job Functions

• Monitor and manage all inbound shipments across all transport modes into our Swiss plant, including containers and rail tank cars, on a daily basis, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant material flows.
• Process, validate, and maintain shipping documents and related logistics information.
• Proactively coordinate with suppliers on shipment status, deviations, discrepancies, and service performance.
• Manage external storage locations, including third‑party warehouses.
• Organize and execute empty container returns in close collaboration with logistics partners.
• Create and manage purchase orders (POs) for rail‑related materials and services, coordinating closely with suppliers.
