Job Description
- Documentation Management: Accurately process and audit essential import documents, including Master and House Bills of Lading, Arrival Notices, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists.
- Operational Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to ensure timely cargo release and delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance: Verify that all shipments meet local customs requirements and tariff classifications to avoid penalties or storage (demurrage/detention) fees.
- Logistics Coordination: Track and trace inbound shipments in real-time, providing stakeholders with accurate ETAs and proactively resolving transit discrepancies.
