Import Controller Operations Job Purpose

The Import Controller is responsible for managing and coordinating all import-related activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective movement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods into the country. This role plays a critical part in supporting production, inventory management, and distribution in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities Import Coordination Manage the end-to-end import process from purchase order placement to delivery. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and company policies. Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, clearing agents, and suppliers to track shipments. Documentation & Compliance Prepare, review, and manage import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bill of lading, certificates of origin, etc.).
