Our client in the automotive manufacturing industry is seeking an Import Buyer to join their team.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• National Diploma in Logistics Management or equivalent
• 7 years experience in Specialist Buyer/Senior Buyer/Import Specialist Buyer role
• 5 years in a manufacturing environment in procurement role

• INCO Terms
• Warehousing and Storage (receipts and FIFO standards)
• Transportation regulations and procedures
• APO/SAP system
• Knowledge of sourcing new suppliers and products
• Knowledge of market research and trend analysis
• Costing and estimating acumen
