Wood is looking for an Intermediate HVAC Designer to support mining projects globally. The role reports to the Mechanical Department Manager and is based in Saskatoon, SK or Vancouver, BC.

The position is hybrid, offering flexible working arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Provide HVAC design support on major mining projects.
• Perform calculations for detailed equipment design (fans, air-handling units, compressors, duct and pipe sizing).
• Produce 3‑D design and drafting in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and/or AVEVA E3D.
• Generate specifications, conduct stress analysis, and layout mechanical equipment and piping for ventilation and HVAC.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with safety, quality, and schedule requirements.
