Role Purpose

The Senior HV/EHV Cable Design Engineer will act as the company's technical authority for high‑voltage and extra‑high‑voltage underground cable systems up to 400 kV AC within the UK. This role provides expert leadership across all stages of cable system design - from feasibility and concept design through detailed engineering, installation support, commissioning input, and lifecycle performance assessment. The postholder will set engineering standards, ensure compliance with UK transmission and distribution requirements, and support business growth through deep technical capability.
